Dr. Angela Tucci
I am an Italian psychologist with over twenty years of experience supporting adults experiencing emotional, relational, or identity challenges. I work between Rome, Potenza, and London, integrating diverse perspectives into a psychological practice geared toward personal transformation. My approach, simple and solution-oriented, favors short, pragmatic, and change-focused approaches. It focuses on the individual's existing resources, potential development, and the creation of a stable and lasting emotional balance. The goal is to guide individuals toward a "desirable future" through clear, structured, and measurable interventions. I build paths of conscious transformation, supporting individuals in managing anxiety, stress, insecurities, relationship difficulties, personal crises, and career transitions. The setting becomes a safe and non-judgmental space where everyone feels respected and listened to. I view the human mind as intrinsically flexible and capable of transformation when supported by method and guidance. I am a co-founder and member of the Scientific Committee of Italian Psychotherapy Ltd and the creator of the E-LaSTA-Mind Method, a framework that integrates: • Brief Solution-Focused Counseling • Single-Session Counseling • REBT • Coaching aimed at performance and decision-making clarity. The program is structured to facilitate understanding and managing emotions, breaking dysfunctional patterns, overcoming decision-making blocks, and developing adaptive skills using appropriate coping strategies. Each session is structured to promote immediate and tangible changes.
Brief Solution-Focused Psychological Consultations
Short consultations are the core of my work. They are flexible and designed to generate tangible benefits from the first meeting. Each session explores operational strategies to overcome emotional and behavioral blocks, strengthening internal resources and decision-making skills.
The path promotes lasting transformations through:
• restructuring of dysfunctional thoughts
• valorization of personal resources
• effective management of emotions
• realistic coping strategies for everyday life
• acquisition of more functional and objective-consistent behaviors.
Consulenza a Seduta Singola
Single-session counseling is the flagship of Italian Psychotherapy. It is a brief and targeted intervention model that aims to promote concrete changes even in a single session. The approach focuses on understanding the problem, activating individual resources, and developing practical and immediately applicable strategies.
It is indicated for:
• relational difficulties
•identity or adaptation issues, especially for expats
• insecurities and personal growth paths
• stress and somatizations
• job burnout
• emotional dysregulation and anger management
• perfectionism and excessive self-criticism.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling is designed to improve the quality of the relationship and promote shared well-being. Clinical work focuses on:
• conflict management and resolution
• strengthening emotional intimacy
•support during significant changes (parenthood, relocations, work crises)
• prevention of emotional dependencies and promotion of relational balance.
Psychodiagnostics
My psychodiagnostic work integrates clinical observation, interviews, and rigorously selected psychometric tools. The analysis allows for an accurate understanding of emotional, cognitive, and relational functioning and supports the design of personalized therapeutic interventions.
Tools used:
• MMPI-2 and MMPI-3
• DIVA 2.0 for the diagnosis of adult ADHD
• SWAP-200
• BFQ (Big Five model)
Psychodiagnostics thus becomes a precise lens for understanding individual complexity and promoting concrete changes.
Psychoeducation and Groups
Psychoeducational programs strengthen awareness, emotional skills, and stress management strategies. Group sessions address structured topics and offer a space for discussion and shared learning.
Main areas:
• stress and anxiety management
• emotional regulation
• effective communication and assertiveness
• coping and problem solving
• anger management
• adaptation to changes
Outreach Activities
I promote the diffusion of psychological culture through:
• writing articles dedicated to stress, decision-making, anxiety and expat adaptation;
•organization of events and conferences, with a particular focus on Single Session Therapy;
• management of the blog “Mind Snack”, which translates scientific knowledge into practical tools for everyday life.
